Looking for quality water workout gear? Hydro-Fit's full line of aquatic exercise equipment provides everything you need to rehabilitate an injury, develop muscle tone, or improve your stamina. Their hand buoys, flotation belts, and resistance cuffs are made in the USA, boasting superior craftsmanship and durability.
The Industry Leader
There's no doubt that Hydro-Fit is a pioneer in the aquatic fitness community. Craig Stuart, the company's founder, began his career in the 1980's as an aqua aerobics instructor. It was a time when water workouts were a novelty and the conventional "resistance equipment" was anything but. The most common handheld gear was a pair of milk jugs, each filled about 1/6 of the way. But his participants reported painful tension because, although milk jugs are cheap, they're not exercise equipment. Stuart set out to design the proper tool for the job and quietly became the inventor of the first pair of hand buoys.
Gear For Everyone
By the early 90's, Hydro-Fit was offering the Wave Web Pro Gloves as well as their signature Hydro-Fit Hand Buoys. Hydro-Fit flotation belts were a later innovation. The Wave and Wave Pro belts are esteemed in the water exercise community for their exceptional fit − staying put where other belts ride up.
Hydro-Fit's gear bags are also acclaimed for their sturdy construction and ample storage designs. Some bags hold up to 16 pairs of hand buoys or 20 pool noodles.
Uncommonly Good Construction
Hydro-Fit listens to the needs of the aquatic exercise community and uses that feedback to create well-designed products that satisfy even the most particular users.
Responding to the need to extend the life of costly water exercise products, many of Hydro-Fit's signature products feature replaceable parts. Wave and Wave Pro Belts can be outfitted with a fresh belt strap, and old Cuffs can be restored with a set of springy replacement foam or a durable nylon cover. We've heard from many loyal Hydro-Fit groupies who have owned, loved, and nearly been outlived by their cherished Wave Web Gloves or Wet Vest Collar. With proper care, your Hydro-Fit products can withstand many seasons of water jogging, Aqua Zumba, or therapy sessions.
Looking for versatility? Hydro-Fit's Mini Cuffs and Resistance Cuffs provide valuable adjustability − making them ideal for therapists in need of asymmetrical support or rehabilitation patients who need to increase the level of resistance as they recover.
