Agility Paddles

The Finis Agility Water Paddles are ideal for those looking to develop their stroke technique. Their unique shape helps teach swimmers the correct palm position for every stroke by relying on the positive pressure of the palm throughout the stroke to keep it in place.

Simple, Yet Versatile Training Paddles

Working for backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle or butterfly, the Finis Agility Paddles will only remain in place if the swimmer maintains an early vertical forearm position. Incorrect technique will cause the paddle to fall of the swimmer's hand.

Increases Swimmer's Awareness of Hand and Arm Position

The swim paddle's ergonomic shape is designed to fit the natural contour of the hand. Their convex design encourages increased traction with the water, which helps the swimmer create more propulsion and maximum efficiency. The shape also creates proper placement with the thumb and fingers, teaching an ideal hand position for swimming.

Finis designed the Agility Swim Paddles to have a natural feel. They increase the surface area of your hand and increase resistance on the water as a result, but without applying too much force to the shoulders and with very little finger stress.

Sizing and Specifications

These strapless swim paddles accommodate most hand sizes, including narrow hands, and eliminate the hassle of adjusting and re-adjusting straps during practice. No straps means improved circulation and more comfortable training session all-around. Agility Paddles are available in small, medium and large sizes. Use the sizing chart to find the perfect fit.

A comfortable thumb hold secures the paddles in place, so you don't have to squeeze or exert extra effort.

The Finis Agility Water Paddles are sturdy and durable one-piece swim paddles; there are no pieces to lose or break.

The Finis Agility Paddles are available in yellow only.

Add a Water Gear Soft Pull Buoy or Speedo Adult Pull Buoy to your routine for a full body workout that lets you continue to focus on stroke technique.

If you like the Finis Agility Paddles, check out the Aqua Sphere Ergo Flex Paddles, which feature an ergonomic contour that promotes a correct, slightly cupped hand position and prevents dropped elbow by placing the center of the effort in the palm of the hand.

The AquaGear Opinion

The Finis Agility Paddles have an excellent, simple strapless design. You have to align them just right to maintain suction to your hands but, when using proper technique, they stay in place throughout your swim and during flip turns as well. Still, these swim paddles are slightly uncomfortable on the thumb-holeâ€"it's best not to grip the paddle with your thumb. The Finis Agility Swim Paddles do not float.

The Bottom Line

The Agility Paddles are simple, strapless and comfortable. They are the perfect training tool for developing any swim stroke. Grab a pair of Finis Agility Paddles today!

Shoulder-friendly paddles.
Written by on September 24th

I am a 50+ Masters swimmer. I swim on my own, without a coach and bought these paddles to make sure my technique wasn't slipping after 20 years in dry dock. I use them sparingly as I have a bad shoulder that flares up with too much exertion. Other folks in the pool where I swim have tried them out and all like the fact that they're smaller than any other paddle. I think because we're all older than the average swimmer and have bad shoulders that we have to baby! They're very comfortable on my hand with no gouging or cramping. If your catch technique is "on" you don't have to exert any thumb pressure to keep them in place. If you're straining to hang on to them, you likely have a glitch in your stroke and that's exactly what these paddles are designed to uncover.
