Designed in Australia, the unique DMC Elite Training Fins are a favorite training fin among Olympians, triathletes, and body surfers worldwide.
Solid Silicone Construction
The Elite Training Fins' durable silicone design is unyielding to chlorine and salt-water breakdown, making this fin a reliable training partner that will last for years. The soft silicone reduces abrasiveness, allowing you to swim harder, for longer. Plus, the weight of the silicone keeps feet just under the surface, for ideal propulsion. The material is also UV- and tear-resistant.
Superior Balance & Propulsion
By swimming with fins, neuromuscular memory is solidified, leaving the wearer with a more effective kick, even after taking the fins off. The short-blade design of the fin provides ample resistance for training purposes, while still allowing for a quick kick tempo. The blade angle and length were designed to produce the least resistance to the kicking action, while the asymmetrical blade prevents catching the fins against one another while swimming. The "V" rails along the edges of the fin stabilize the blade and provide stiffness. And, each fin size features a unique blade-to-foot ratio for the perfect resistance level for every user.
Designed for Foot Comfort
Each pair of DMC Elites comes with designated left and right foot pockets, making for a particularly comfortable user experience, with less incidence of foot cramps. The heel strap features an Achilles cutout to prevent chafing and the rounded inner edges protect the feet. Please note these fins do not float.
These fins run a bit large, so consider ordering a size down from your normal shoe size, especially if you're on the cusp.
The AquaGear Opinion
Since their announcement, the DMC Elite Fins have been on the minds of our testers. We'd already fallen in love with the Hydro Swim Fins by DMC (now discontinued) and found the latest offering to be just as intriguing (not to mention comfortable). Usable for any of the 4 competitive strokes, we thought the Elites would be a great addition to a medley swimmer's training repertoire.
The Bottom Line
Finding a fin that's so versatile can be quite a challenge. But, these babies will accompany you to the beach or pool for a day swimming, surfing, or training. Take home a pair today and show 'em a good time.

The fins propel you nicely through the water allowing you to concentrate on your stroke, however, the sizing is an issue. I wear a solid size 9 in all shoes. I purchased the M/L size fins which they claim are size 8 - 9. I was worried that the fins might be a bit tight but they were just the opposite, they were at least one size to big. I wore them for about 4 workouts and started to get some first rate blisters so now they are sitting in my trunk while I decide what to do with them. It's a shame that they can't be tried on for size prior to purchasing them because the sizes are way off of what they advertise.
DMC Elite swim Fins
Comfortable fins because it is made if silicone. Easy on and off. Swims great and feel it is a different workout. Runs slightly big. I am a size 7 and had to get the size 4-5 for the fins.
Best fins in the market
Great training equipment!
My feet dont hurt anymore, which is perfext to use them as long as I need to.
I strongly recommend them
Have just had them out a few times, but they are working well!
Worth every penny.
I'm a 50+ Masters swimmer. I get in 3500 - 4000 yards, 3 - 4 days a week. Because of a bad shoulder at least half of my workout is kick, so a good fin is very important to me. I was unhappy with the Speedo Biofuse fin I was using. I found them too fatiguing; my legs hurt, but I wasn't winded. I'm so happy I discovered the DMC Elite. They are EXACTLY the right training fin for a swimmer. My kick feels natural and comfortable and at long last, I start to breath hard before my legs are exhausted. I wear a size 8-1/2 N. I originally ordered a size M according to the size chart, but I found the toe box too short and exchanged them for a ML. I have to wear socks to make up for the width my foot lacks and wanted to make sure my toes weren't jammed into the front of the fin. Don't be put off by the price. I wasted $28 on a cheaper pair of fins that I will never wear again. Learn from my mistake.
For elite swimmers because is specially to made work the ankles.... not just to move forward.
It is the best!! My son ask me to order for him for his swim practice, he said it is very comfortable and very fast. He loved it and everyone else In the team try to figure out what he got and wants to get the same.
Great training fin for increasing speed
Purchased these on a coach's recommendation and I am completely happy with them. They put your feet and body in a proper position for kicking. I used to dread long kicking drills because I was so slow but my speed has increased using these fins (both with and without them) so I enjoy them now. Fit was great - no rubbing or blisters at all. Very well made and I expect them to last quite awhile.
DMC Elite Fins
I am a woman who wears a size 10 shoe and size 11 in athletic shoes (tennis/golf) and prefer an ample toe box. I ordered the ML and they fit perfect. I debated over which size to order and luckily, I guessed correct. They do run big versus their stated sizes. I sized down one size and it worked out. Love these fins!
DMC Elite Swim Fins
Love these fins! I used to wear socks with my old fins, but these are perfectly comfortable without socks or body glide.
The End of Leg Cramps
I was using Gold Zoomers and I could about 50 yards before cramping. I tried this brand/style from a workout partner and went 200 meters with no issues, then I bought my own set. I've since used them for a couple 1000 meter sets without cramping. It's nice to be able to complete workout with toys instead of having to go toyless or face cramps. Only knock on these is that the older versions were softer and may be preferable to some.
I've tried almost every short fin out there and these win the prize. They are super comfortable and make every stroke faster and fun. These are keepers and worth the price.
I’m a 60 yo Master Swimmer who swims 3000 yards a day. These fins have helped improve my body position, strengthened my legs, and allow my legs to do more of the work to spare my shoulders. All of my lane mates have been told about these and several now own them.
I love these fins!
great training fins
just the right amount of flexibility, very comfortable and very efficient highly recommend them
My daughter loves these fins. She always complained with her old fins made her slower and never helped. With these, she was excited that they helped her lead her lane. A bit more expensive than her old fins, but worth it! Will likely be buying a 2nd set for my other daughter.
Top Swim Fins
Top fins. Comfortable and easy on the ankles!
great fit and comfort
Aquagear is my new go-to for all my masters swimming gear! I was searching the web for these new must-have but difficult-to-find fins and I phoned Aquagear--they were super-helpful and found me a pair in no time. They kept me updated about the status of my order and they had the best price available. 5 stars!
DMC Elite Swim Fins
DMC Elite Swim Fins are the top of the line. The colors are fun and for lightness, comfort and design they can't be bettered. But what really matters is that they work: they give thrust and sustained power for swim training - the laps fly by and you end up with shapely legs!
This product was recommended by the swimming coach of my son, so far good performance for swim practice!
great traiing fin
Very comfortable and I have been getting a lot of good use out of them. They run small - I wear a men's size 10.5 in shoes and ordered the M-L and the fit perfectly.
These fins were purchased for my son as a birthday present. He wears a size 13 shoe, so the fins chosen were a size XL. They are neither snug nor tight and could probably wear them into a size 14, maybe a size 15 shoe. A friend borrowed them and stated they were too loose for him; that guy wears a size 12 shoe.
The fins are made of dense silicone, heavy to hold out of the water, yet comfortable to wear. He has practiced with them three times a week for the past month and finds them very effective. His swim coach inspected them and gave his approval; he likes that they are short fins and a comfort design.
In summary, this is a great training performance tool to add to anyone's swim bag but make sure you get the right size.
DMC Elite Swim Fins
Super comfortable fins, we’ve tried many brands and these have proved by far the best.
I've tried many types of fins over the years, and although these feel quite heavy out of the water, they're wonderful IN the water!
My daughter loves these fins. When buying these we had to go down a shoe size from what my daughter wears
The DMC Elite Swim Fins are fantastic. I am an older swimmer with poor kick action. I ordered Arena Powerfin Pro at first because they were cheaper and were also silicone. Tried them on and realized they were hard and uncomfortable. Had a friend recommend the DMC Elite Fins. These are soft and very comfortable. Sizing is accurate. I couldn't be happier! Definitely worth the price!
Great addition to training
These are a powerful addition to training. Have to work harder than with long fins, muscle build is awesome.
Recommend a size smaller than you think.
DMC Elite swim fins
Perfect swim training equipment my son has ever used!
