Aquatic Fitness Systems

Want to get fit? Step up your aqua aerobics sessions with a total water workout package that contains all the gear you need to improve your physique, challenge your core, and strengthen your heart. Thanks to their versatility, our range of aquatic fitness systems are suitable for both novice and veteran aquatic exercisers.

What's In a System?

Workout systems vary somewhat by brand and purpose, but most are comprised of resistance gear for the arms and legs and a flotation belt of some kind. Fitness systems by AquaJogger, such as their Men's Fitness System, come complete with a flotation belt, a pair of hand buoys, resistance footwear, and a guided workout on DVD. AquaJogger's Shape System also comes with a tote bag to keep your equipment neatly contained.

How to Choose an Aquatic Fitness System

Maybe you're ready to invest, but you need help choosing the right package. Fitness systems for men typically feature a thick flotation belt that's highly buoyant, like the AquaJogger Pro; systems for women often come with a belt that accommodates wider hips, like the AquaJogger Shape. The cut of the jog belt affects its performance as well. Belts that have more foam on the back will lean the user forward and engage the core, while tapered styles that have an even distribution of foam hold the user in an upright position without much effort.

Caring For Pool Gear

Extend the life of your system by properly caring for it consistently. Rinse foam components with fresh water, then thoroughly towel- or air-dry them. AquaGear recommends storing all of your aquatic exercise gear indoors (or at least out of the heat, humidity, and direct sunlight).

Check out AquaGear's Ultimate Guide to Water Fitness for more information on aquatic exercise routines, flotation belts, the benefits of water exercise, and more.
