New from Aqua Sphere for 2014, the Aqua X Training Core Belt is designed for cardio and core strength exercise, but also doubles as a buoyancy aide for swimming or simply floating.
Remember: flotation belts are not meant to be used as life-saving devices and you should never rely on one as such.
Developed By Athletes
Complete with training routines developed by Olympian, Amanda Beard & fitness expert, Mark Grevelding, the Aqua Sphere Core Belt offers excellent buoyancy for water exercise routines of any kind. Although it's one-size-fits-all model, the Core Belt fits a wide range of waist sizes, from 29-55". The single strap is extra-wide to reduce pressure and adjusts quickly, even while wearing. The Core Belt's high-back design means that your core muscles will be challenged while in a vertical position and you'll be able to easily adopt a horizontal position as well. Complete your Aqua X Training set with the Power Glove.
Additional Features
"Stretch Zones" keep belt firmly in place
Ridges conform to body shape
Neoprene-covered for added buoyancy
Mesh Zones" cut down on dry-time
The AquaGear Opinion
We loved the uncommon design of this flotation belt. Testers noted that the belt was more comfortable than other, non-fabric-covered models and seemed to "stick" to the skin better, preventing ride-up. The single size is the only downside. If your waist is larger than 55", you'd be better off with a sized belt, like this one. And make sure you keep the packaging because this belt comes with an exercise guide printed right on the box.
The Bottom Line
The Aqua X Training Core Belt combines the best of material, design, and fitness programs, making it one of the best values on the market. Whip yourself into shape today (and look good doin' it)!
