The Water Gear Micro Cuffs pack a powerful buoyancy and resistance punch for their compact size. Designed to fit around the ankles or wrists, the Micro Cuffs help enhance muscle toning and aerobic conditioning exercises.
Add Buoyancy and Resistance
The Micro Buoyancy Cuffs are designed to comfortably strap around the ankles or wrists. The floats within the cuffs actively work against the density of the water and create a significant amount of resistance with every movement. They help dramatically enhance each and every exercise in your existing aerobic routine. Both the increased buoyancy and added resistance can help swimmers reach their goals of improved overall muscle tone, mass, and heart-pumping conditioning.
The Micro Cuffs are similar to other wrist/ankle specific buoyancy cuffs. Water Gear also manufacturers the slightly larger, more resistant Aqua Cuffs. The standard Aqua Cuffs give exercises a real challenge as they provide expert levels of resistance to work both upper and lower body muscle groups. And AquaJogger, a popular name in aqua aerobics circles, boasts both the AquaRunners and the X Cuffs. Both provide ample amounts of resistance to any water workout. While the Micro Cuffs are some of the smallest out of the bunch, they still provide swimmers with high levels of buoyancy and resistance in order to enhance each and every movement in the water.
Who says that big things don’t come in little packages?! One of the best things about the Water Gear Micro Cuffs is their compact and travel-friendly size. They are manageable enough in shallow water and ideal for deep water exercises as well. No matter where you exercise, bring along a pair of the cuffs to amp up your regular routine. Throw them in the Speedo Mesh Equipment Bag, which is made from 100% nylon mesh to increase airflow and reduce drying time while on the go.
The Micro Buoyancy Cuffs are sold in pairs and available in blue only. Their one-size-fits-all design is accompanied by an adjustable Velcro closure, ensuring a comfortable and customized fit. The floats are covered in a soft neoprene, which remains chafe-free against the skin. Instructions for leg, arm, and deep water exercises are also included in the cuffs’ packaging. The Micro Cuffs set gives you everything you need in order to have a challenging, full body workout in the water.
The AquaGear Opinion
Because the AquaGear testers had already tried out the Water Gear Aqua Cuffs, they had a good reference to compare and contrast the Micro Buoyancy Cuffs to. Swimmers thought that the Micro Cuffs were a lot less bulky than the standard Water Gear cuffs. But, even though they were smaller, they were still able to provide a decent amount of buoyancy and, therefore, resistance. When using the products, testers found it easier to use the Micro Cuffs in conjunction with a flotation belt when in deep water. The belt helped stabilize and counterbalance the cuffs’ buoyancy.
The Bottom Line
If you’re looking for cuffs that are easy to take along with you and ones that really can help enhance your water workout, then pick up a pair of Water Gear Micro Cuffs today!
