There’s a reason that Water Gear added “Professional” to these resistance cuffs’ name. The Professional Aqua Cuffs provide expert levels of resistance to give your lower body a workout like never before!
Provides Optimal Buoyancy/Resistance Workout
The Professional Aqua Cuffs buoyant design gives users a chance to really work and engage leg muscles. Because you are forced to constantly keep the resistance cuffs underwater, the devices help improve muscle tone and enhance aerobic conditioning. The Aqua Cuffs can either be strapped around the leg or under the foot. While they are great for shallow water workouts, their buoyant design can support and engage the entire body in deep water as well. They are great for water walking or running, toe touches, cross-country ski exercises, jumping jacks, and so much more. For a total body workout, try pairing the lower body resistance cuffs with Water Gear’s own Resistance Bells. Available in 5 varying levels, these bells add a great level of buoyancy and resistance to any workout.
Durable, Comfortable Design
Water Gear uses a unique molding process to make the Aqua Cuffs fabric and foam extremely durable. This is exactly what gives the Water Gear training devices their high level of buoyancy and resistance. In addition to the durable design, they are coated with soft material for a long-lasting comfortable feel. The Professional cuffs features fully adjustable foot and ankle straps for a secure, slip-free fit.
Additional Specs
The Professional Aqua Cuffs are similar to the Hydro-Fit Cuffs. The latter devices provide similar resistance levels, yet are slightly more compact than the Water Gear product. The lower body resistance cuffs are sold in pairs and are available in two varying resistance levels. The red model is for heavy resistance, while the blue provides a medium level of resistance. Each pair comes with an exercise sheet and additional tips to help you get started. Their lightweight design means that they can be carried with you no matter where your aqua cardio sessions take place. Throw them in the roomy Water Gear Swimmer’s Backpack, which features separate compartments for wet and dry gear, and always have the resistance cuffs on hand.
The AquaGear Opinion
Testers were ready for a challenging lower body workout when they tried on the Water Gear Professional Aqua Cuffs in the AquaGear pool. Swimmers found that the cuffs provided a great deal of floatation. This not only worked the lower body, but also destabilized the entire body in order to engage the core. While they might be slightly bulkier than other similar products, they do provide an ample amount of resistance. Testers thought that they would be ideal for more advanced water workouts or for those looking for a more challenging routine. Make sure to put them on before entering the water and feel free to use them with a floatation belt if their ultra-buoyant design becomes too uncomfortable.
The Bottom Line
Shape and tone your legs, as well as challenge your cardiovascular system, with the help of the Water Gear Professional Aqua Cuffs!
