Zoomers Fit, the new fitness oriented fin from Finis, provides an alternative to traditional swim fins for fitness focused swimmers. While traditional training fins are meant for swimmers looking to improve their stroke work or train at race speeds, the Finis Zoomers Fit creates more resistance than a traditional training fin to provide a more challenging cardiovascular workout. With its short blade, zoomers encourage shorter and faster kicks which results in increased propulsion through the water. The new Zoomers Fit fins feature a soft and comfortable Surflex material which is firmer than a foam or pure rubber fin. The Zoomers Fit has a longer blade than the Z2 Gold and has a shorter and more flexible blade than the Sea Lion Fin. The blade is squared off and has a channel underneath that creates resistance on the up kick building your hamstrings and glutes. Unlike the z2 gold, however, it doesn't have a blade or holes on the top. Compared to the z2 it has more of a plastic feel where the z2 feels more rubbery. The Zoomers Fit has a closed heal for a more secure fit. Ridges on the heels help provide better traction. The color is slightly more yellow than the zoomers and the Z2 zoomers which are more gold. The Zoomers fit is a a good choice for the budget conscience fitness swimmer.
