High Level Resistance
The AquaJogger AquaFit Pro Barbells are designed to give you a water workout like never before. They feature twice the amount of resistance than standard AquaJogger AquaFit Bells and are suited for swimmers who are already comfortable with their standard workout routine. The thick, durable foam placed on both ends of the barbell constantly works against the water to help engage upper body muscles and add load-bearing exercises to your water routine. Each foam end measures 5” thick and has a diameter of 6”. If your water workout requires a little less resistance, you might want to try the AquaJogger AquaFit Barbells. They are a similar hand buoy, but measure about half the size for half the amount of resistance. In addition to AquaJogger products, Water Gear produces a great line of hand buoys as well. Their Resistance Bells are available in various levels to fit every workout’s need.
The AquaFit Pro Barbells’ design not only allows them to produce a great deal of resistance, but their foamy and buoyant composition can also provide floatation while in the water. The AquaJogger dumbbells can be placed under the armpits or behind the knees to add extra support during deep water exercises. They help keep the upper body afloat while you concentrate on working core and leg muscles. Use the buoyant barbells alone or with the assistance of a jogging belt.
The AquaFit Pro Barbells are made from closed-cell foam that’s resistant to chipping and waterlogging. The AquaJogger dumbbells feature large, padded grips. These handgrips are ideal for water exercises that have a weak grip or suffer from arthritis. To keep your pair of AquaFit Pro Barbells lasting as long as possible, rinse them with fresh water after every use and keep them properly stored. The AquaJogger Mesh Equipment Bag is an ideal pack to carry and store all your AquaJogger products. And water aerobics instructors, or any other person who might have to lug around large amounts of equipment, will love the Hydro-Fit Instructor Bag. It can hold up to 12 pairs of hand buoys or 16 water jogging belts!
The AquaGear Opinion
Testers in the AquaGear pool got into a full aqua-aerobics mindset to try out the AquaFit Pro Barbells. They thought that the hand buoys provided a good deal of buoyancy while in the water. While they are ideal for resistance training the upper body, the barbells buoyant design would be great for use under the knees and armpits. By placing them there, the AquaGear testers were able to work the core and lower body while feeling sufficiently supported by the devices. In addition to their buoyancy, the AquaFit Pro Barbells’ large and comfortable handgrips were easy to get a hold of, even for those users that have a hard time gripping items.
The Bottom Line
The AquaJogger AquaFit Pro Barbells can do so much more than work your upper body. Pick up a pair today and see how they can help support and enhance your workout in the water!
