Mixing it Up

A variety of Swim Training Equipment is available to allow the recreational or competitive swimmer the opportunity to add different elements to their swimming routine.

Swim Training Fins

Swim Fins strengthen the legs through added resistance, increase ankle flexibility and allow the swimmer to concentrate on arm and body movements. Not to be used all the time, but to be added to the routine when a different approach is called for.

Tethers and Leashes

Training leashes allow the swimmer to stay stationary and swim against the resistance of the leash. This is ideal for small pools where the swimmer would need to be consistently turning due to the short length of the pool. It also allows concentrating on the stroke being addressed for an extended period of time.

Timers and Stroke Timers

Electronic swim timers such as digital stopwatches and stroke counters structure the workout, stroke timers such as the Finis Tech Toc provide a cadence for body rotation.
