Speedo's Begin to Swim program was developed to aid in the instruction and progression of a child's swimming skills through the use of various training aids. These progressions are categorized in to 3 levels:

Level 1 - Introduction to Water. Child is a beginning swimmer with no previous water experience and is completely dependent on an adult for full flotation and support

Level 2 - Introduction to Swimming. Child is familiar with the water and is building confidence while still dependent on full flotation allowing them to develop swimming skills.

Level 3 - Developing Technique. Child is confident in his/her ability to explore the water with minimal flotation aligning their body in to a natural swimming position and developing independent swimming skills.
